Forest Fire

Forests gleaming green and bright
The moon rippling at such a height
Insects buzzing round and round
I block my ears from the sound
Suddenly there was a big orange light
Which gave all animals quite a fright
Then rain fell and gushed out the fire
Birds sing in such a choir
After every mess brings new life
Soon the forest is filled with wildlife
Daytime comes with light filtering in
And the dappled light brings such a grin
