Forest of Dreams

As the breeze runs by,

It calms me down.

As the flowers smile at me,

I smile back at them.

All the plants around me

Sing me a soothing song,

In return, I water them

And leave them to flourish.

Spring rain gives me courage,

Drowning all my worries.

Birds chant and cheer

As I walk past their tree.

Sunny skies shine brightly above,

I feel the warm light with my head in the clouds.

I stumble across a flowing river,

A nearby waterfall makes peaceful sounds.

Bellbirds cheep through towering trees

As I stand, relaxed in a forest of hope.

I wonder if saplings have dreams, too?
