Fossil Life

Once this fossil was a fish
that could make the noise “swish”.
But it got fossilised
and then I realised.
It probably had dinner 65 million years ago
it looked like it was made out of dough.
It was dark as rock
just like my clock.
On the bench safely guarded
when I went to sleep it darted!
It was as fast as a cheetah
so it could get to the theatre.
It left without a trace
like it was a race.
It went to the nearest ocean
and started making a potion.
I don’t know why
probably for a pie.
He bolted back again and sat back near the pen.
I woke up and now here we go again. “OH NO!”
