Our world is ever-changing, constantly being drawn

For the world rises and falls into a dawn

As only time can be told through the trees and the plains

And measured by the amount of the many hundred grains

This land we stand on, our humble abode

Forever with us since the first men rode

Divided regions, each with a name

Containing burning life, like an unextinguished flame

A source of light and resources too

A place we call Earth, just for me and you
