Frozen Memory
By Tess M
Sitting on my bedside table,
You wait for me.
Watching, waiting, never moving,
Showing a frozen memory.
As quiet as a mouse,
But as loud as a roar.
The dog you show,
Isn’t here anymore.
I think about you every night,
Whilst I am lying in my bed.
The thoughts that you summon,
Buzzing in my head.
You still sit on my bedside table,
And wait for me.
Watching, waiting, never moving,
Showing a frozen-memory.
