My glasses help me see
And they give me my identity
They stick onto my head
And they lay beside my bed
I use them from day to night
When I take them off it’ll give you a fright

My glasses help me in my day-to-day activities
They help me to see and hide my insecurities
My glasses are light and easy to carry
But when I take them I feel a bit airy
My glasses make my eyes look big
And they could break to things such as twigs

I got my glasses when I was ten
And never took them off since then
I lost my first leopard glasses when I was ten and a half
And I once dropped my glasses onto a field full of calves
Once I dropped my glasses into a cup of tea
Overall my glasses are a part of me
