Gleaming Crystals

Its crystal glistens in the sunlight,
And in the moonlight it’s the same.
Its lustre shall remain forever.
When it shines around my neck.

As clear as an icicle it may be,
But its elegance can entice one’s eye.
Creating a glinting world in my mind
And happiness in my heart.

It was given as a gift
And will be kept as a treasure.
As it shimmers around my neck
It will bring back fond memories.

Its diamonds sparkle all day
Just like a star in the velvety night sky.

Will always have a story to be told.
