This particularly dinky plate was born.
In historic Rome,
And is almost a glistening glass dome.
This can certainly not be hung on an old hat hook,
But definitely isn't the size of a mischievous rook.

Chocolate brown, inky black, ochre yellow and emerald green,
Oh it is so mysteriously clean,
Was used to serve Her Majesty; the Queen.
This very minuscule plate,
Oh it feels a lot like slate.
There is a muscly man in the middle,
He looks like he is saying a complicated riddle.

If you dropped this plate,
It would make a big 'smash' and fall to the ground.
Soon it would be found,
Because someone would have heard the sound.
Sold in a large pottery barn,
And was sold to someone who lives on a farm.
