Golden Glory

My golden glory speaks of an exciting year.
It reminds me of the good games and the bad, the outstanding players
the sleepy mornings
running across the court forgetting that I had the ball.
Its golden appearance feels so smooth.
It's has a golden ball, hoop and that we won the grand final.
WHOOSH its all coming back to me, like how the ball flew across the court into our GS/GA hands .
The matches weren’t always as smooth as a quarter-horse cantering,
the teams were very rough, that wouldn’t get to us, we were far too tough.M
