As I open up my special box
Memories unfold.
I gaze upon a silver box
It releases shining gold.
As I look at my reflection
Through the gold rust & glow.
I remember those eyes
Those gentle blue eyes
That I loved so dearly
Long ago.

As I search on in that special box
I find old treasures that were lost.
Those times, those memories.
Come flooding back
And they’re the only ones I'll ever have.

I remember he wore it every day,
Every second, every minute, every hour I’ll say
I know he was proud of it, it wasn't that cheap!
But he was proud of me too.
And that’s special to me.
