Why do people take honourable and noble things and defile them? Many people say they don’t, but the truly truthful are in the minority. If you look deeply into yourself and search through your memory, I think you would be surprised. Other people's’ happiness, physical buildings faces, foreign religions’ faith value, pagan symbols’ hidden meaning. These have all been affected by people thoughtlessly tarnishing them.
Take myself, for example. A supposed pagan ‘stamp’, symbolizing a bond.
Something simple, but I have been curbed by something stronger. Christianity is a weed, slowly taking over. Slowly smothering, defeating the rest of the world’s personal beliefs.
Even though my exquisite green, twisting lines have a hidden meaning and culture of my own, I have been shunned, moved over to make room for a foreign, invading, alien religion.
I wish I could uproot the weeds, and show my true, warm and tolerating colours.
