Green Sea Turtle

I am a green sea turtle and my numbers are going down 

It’s scary to think I might not always be around

So please, 

Stop polluting my seas and protect my species.

We are not dangerous so don’t be afraid

 please don’t litter so we can be saved.

 We need your help

Our numbers are going down at an outrageous rate

So little are left.

We are so incredibly smart

But rubbish from humans can look like our food

And when we try to swallow a plastic bag, 

Well, that’s not good!

So we must rely on humans before we fall apart.
