A splintering heart, with arms reaching out
a single seeds journey, laying roots in a location of home
as one season rolls into another
on returning it's clear the forest has grown
yet different from other years the movement can’t be seen

The earth's shining sea flows around the coast
if we took more care, cleaned the oceans and did our most
when inland we break and tear the land, instead provide that helping hand.

The little thing we miss, the beauty of nature
the home we had no more than a kiss of creation.
The glimpse we once had gets lost,
as the next generation
will suffer the cost!
