Growing Carrots

My grandma gave me a gift
It was a Woolies pot of fun
I was excited it gave me a lift
Oh let's get this done!

Grandma, it's carrots I will grow
Get the coco pellet on a plate
Water I need, drip drop let it flow
Plant this pot and wait for its fate

To my surprise a shooting root
Popped up out of the pot
A carrot was growing not a fruit
Let’s celebrate with the lot

Waiting waiting weeks went by
My Crunchy Carrots are done
Grandma would you like to try
