Hidden Memories

Dazzling in the night,
Brighter than your imagination,
Twinkling entrances you.
Overlooking the river Sein and Notre Dame,
The Eiffel tower stands tall and strong.
Brisk winds whip my hair,
Sounds of Paris enthral me.
A box of velvet,
Battered and worn.
Inside is a treasure,
A secret from the past,
A mere locket,
Old with rust.
