High Above

High above,
The endless sea,
Colours light the sky,
A vast ocean, never-ending,
And the sun, sinking into its depths,
The sun is an artist,
The sky, its canvas,
The end of the day has come,
Though, the waves crash to protest the night,
They do to no avail,
A foamy sea below,
Submits to darkness,
The moonlight is your only guide home
