The wind blows like a soft whisper through the air,
reassuring the plants and animals that it still cares.
She picks up leaves and tags them along
And dropping them off at where they belong.
She carries memories and laughter, happiness and joy
Sharing it for all to enjoy.
But there’s one other thing the wind will bring,
She brings terror and pain,
Her mighty force as fast as a train,
Tearing down buildings,
Distinguishing hope,
She laughs as she watches those who try to match her,
She knows they have no chance against her,
and it’s almost a joke how they try to equal the fight,
But there is one thing that they have that she despises.
And that is hope,
And when it’s used against her,
 she cannot cope.
