I am a little mouse

I am a little mouse how do you see me

A grey shaggy ball

Up in the bushes ahead

As you stare into my eyes a slight shade of red

My long hairless tail

In your torch's beam

I am a little mouse when do you hear me

A scream in the night

That stops me dead

Now they know

I'm at their vision's edge

I give my loud hiss

As I scurry away

Into the dark night

As they all say

I am a little mouse where do you find me
In holes of cupboards
And under the house
Where no one will find
That sneaky little mouse
