I am the darkness

with my feathers as dark as the night

blending in with the trees surrounding

I am the darkness

shining in the bright sky

I glide with spectacular speed

I am the darkness

my dark wings bring the rain

I am the rain

and I am the hope that things will change

flying above the red earth

while the shining sun glistens off my face

I am the darkness 

with eyes like little gems, a firey red tint

I am the darkness

protecting my land, family, and home, reaching my feathered fingers around all
