I belong here

I’m bold and bright, 

Majestic and light, 

My confidence is key, 

Proud and tall as can be. 

My colours are red and green, 

The most exotic you’ve seen, 

Unique as far as you can see, 

And yet, you don’t seem to see me. 

You can cut me and bruise me, 

Push me and pull me, 

But I will stand my ground. 

I belong here, you know, 

So please, leave me to grow.  

I don’t hurt you or harm you, 

And I am a beautiful view, 

So please just leave me be.
