The lime green grass sways across the field

The bats fly overhead.

The trees welcome me with open arms into their home

I walk across the long winding path

Rocks stumble and trip

the mountains beside me.

Jagged peaks stand tall watching over me

The clouds scatter across the sky

Making way for the sun.

It shines in my eyes, almost blinding me

My back aches and my sides burn,

But I push forward and carry on walking

I don't want to miss a thing.
