I Will See Him Again

I walk by the river that used to be a river that flows like a silver ribbon, winding and curving, carrying the stories of time and change
Now, the platypus drops down its head, gliding through the water like a puzzle piece in a lost era
I count on, 1, 2, 3, 4 pieces of rubbish reaching onto the beak
One day, I want to see him again like a swan on a secret mission moving with elegance in clear waterways, its webbed feet propelling silently, navigating in the hidden currents
