I Wonder Why

As the morning starts. The sun rises, shining through the sky. Orange, yellow, pink painted on a blank canvas. Thinking about nature, saying ‘I wonder why?’
Why are there trees in all different shades of green? Why can’t they be blue to match the sky? Or why can’t they be purple, my favourite colour? I really, really wonder why?
Why does the ocean look so blue? When really it’s clear. Like a bottle of water I bought from the shops. Why does it look so clean, fresh and new? Why can’t it be pink or red? I really, really wonder why?
Why do we have clouds? I really don’t know? In the sky they look like a big blob of snow. White and fluffy they sometimes are close, some days they are also really far. I always wish I could reach up and grab some. But that time has not yet come. I really really wonder why?
For now I'll sit here wondering why? I just can’t float up into the sky and lay on the clouds. So I can forget all my doubts.
But mainly why? There's still rubbish on the beaches. This is something we can fix now? It’s really that easy. You shouldn’t have to ask how? The beach is an important place. And if we never clean up, it will end up a disgrace. So why wait, when time is ticking. It’s time to change nature's fate. We only have days. So are you gonna help nature, now or never?
