In the forest, I sit.

Wisps of cotton drift in the sky,

damp grass dressed in blooming yellow flowers,

whizzing rainbow birds fly from tree to tree

merrily singing and chirping whilst they can.

Fresh scents of air fill my nose,

ants scurry disorderly,

rustling leaves swirl in the zephyr

when suddenly a smoke-grey sky overshadows.

In the forest, I sat.
