A girl shunned and scorned,
By the society she calls home.
She seeks refuge from the brutal reality,
Into the unknown of green.

Swish, the melancholy in the voice of the wind,
The soft tunes of the birds,
The gleaming sun,
The towering trees and the gushes of the waterfall,
Soothes her being,
As she trods into the green.

She finds a home in between the trees,
With the animals she makes "friends",
The girl has found a place of belonging,
In the world of green.
