In the moonlight's glare

Ripples shine in the moonlight,
Shimmering, sparkling, shining,
The salty scent filled the air,
The beach felt so bare.

Waves danced down to the sand,
The silence pierced my ears,
The fine sand was like a blanket,
Coating the beach with its golden glaze.

The beach is peaceful, small and kind.
It is surrounded by nature,
Untouched by mankind,
It is much like heaven,
With its natural beauty.
