In the Night

Around the forest that twists and turns.
The moths flutter in the distant moonlight as the night owls hoot.
Amongst the lily pads, the frogs chirp, spying bugs with gleeful gazes.
The leaves fall on the water with a gentle splash that attracts the attention of the little tadpoles.
The wind twirls in the marshes as little fish swim about.
Mosquitoes stinging the marsh explorers for territory.
At night, the moths clutter trying to reach the moonlight.
As the sugar gliders climb the great eucalyptus tree just to jump off again for one berry.
Amongst the swamp, the fireflies buzz whilst the koi fish splash in the water that shines in the moonlight.
