Is, was, always will be

Sometimes we forget,
That if rain falls, only the top leaves get wet,
But if the economy falls, only the top treasurers get dropped.

Sometimes we remember,
That if the sun shines, only the big bugs get burnt,
But when stars shine, only the big astronomers know where they are.

Most of the time we feel like,
We are standing in a world above us,
But they're simple pleasures.

Rippling waves calm me.
They cool me.
They let me be anything I want to be without
Talking, writing or listening.
I can just watch.

Watch the waves crumples the blue body,
Swallowed up surfers retreat,
But never have a regret about going in.
