I ride to shore on my short, stubborn surfboard.

Run into the warm water with no thought in my mind.

I appreciate the beauty of the white smooth sand.

When you're quiet you can hear the sparkles on the H2O.

I felt the sun rays shining on my tanned wet skin.

Know this day will make me more happy.

Little silver fish tottering around me,

running on the scorching hot sand to the ocean with my goggles. This never gets old.

This sand is as hot as a kettle.

Swimming through the water,

gazing at the pink coral and the stripy fish,

Listening to the dolphins sing.

I’m calm, I am home.

I come up for a breath.

Start floating on the still water.

I swim back to shore get my board.

Go back out and do it all over again.

In the water with the big and small turtles gliding through the currents like life.

Meeting all new animals, feeling this day is the one.

Nothing could beat this island in the sun.
