I'm cute and mute 

I'm small but you are tall

My call is silent but violent

I get around by jumping but the government keeps pumping

I can see at night but I can't fight 

I scuttle across the yard I struggle to get under the fence that separates me from my home 

I can leap three meters but I got to keep safe from the predators
