Karate Trophy

Walking up to the front of the room
I heard cheering from the crowd
I see my family,
photos and staring people and a gold trophy
For karate kid 2017

I felt as happy and bright as the gleaming sun
when I got my trophy
it felt solid, textured and 3D

I felt instant fuzziness
and sweat poured down my face

I keep it on a shelf at all times
my trophy has been with me for a lot of years
if it ever got broken
I would feel like I had been through a rubbish compactor
