Keep running

I love playing soccer on my ngurra (Country) 

I see the beautiful ngurra (Country) when I am outside

I feel the hot bunyal (sun) on my skin

When I am playing soccer outside

I hear the gurragang (magpies) chirping at me

the wind is blowing on my skin

Through the darrambyang (gum trees)

It smells like strong eucalyptus

when I run, I feel hot

the breeze feels cool and whispers

in my ear saying ‘keep running’.
