You see them in a eucalyptus tree,

You see them on the ground.

An Australian treasure for you and me,

So unique and admired, they should be crowned.

We need to stop destroying their habitats.

We need Koalas, not those weird rabbits.

Let’s protect their homes, our native eucalypt trees,

Where they can be safe, munching on their leaves.

There are only so few precious koalas left,

We have robbed ourselves, committed a terrible theft.

Koalas are somehow still surviving,

But with our help, they could be thriving.

Help us keep the koalas safe,

Because right now they are unsafe.

From cars, disease and mainly habitat destruction by us,

Come on Australia, let’s protect our koalas and end the fuss.
