Koalas

Found in gum trees

Swinging from gumtree to

gumtree. Swiftly and silently clinging

onto tree branches.

I hear nothing but the sleepy

koalas snoring. Silence 

from the koalas.

Koalas, the best at sensing danger, 

Yet they’re endangered themselves,

these fearsome 

animals still

clinging onto life.

these precious animals 

may never be seen again.

Magical, mystical, precious, fuzzy,

greyish, beautiful, endangered -

koalas!
