Koalas

Koalas smell like eucalyptus
Koalas taste sweetness and umami
Koalas have keen smell and touch senses
They have round heads, big furry ears, and big black noses
They have big mobile ears
The mummies have pouches to carry their babies
They are born hairless
They can live up to a decade.
We are cutting down their homes
To build our own
And now they are critically endangered
Koala comes from an Aboriginal word
Koalas live on Aboriginal land
This land is their land
We have to let them live!
