Koalas in the gum trees

In eucalyptus groves, they gently sway,
Koalas sleep through the heat of day,
With fur so soft, in shades of grey,
In the land down under, they find their way.
Among the branches, they calmly cling,
Their love for leaves is a silent thing,
In gum tree canopies, they softly sing,
A native song, to nature they bring.
With furry ears and button nose,
In tranquil forests, they find repose,
A symbol of the wild, where life flows,
Koalas in their leafy boughs compose.
