Koalas in the Trees

Koalas resting in the eucalyptus tree,
Eating all leaves they can see.
Snuggled in the branches up so high,
While all around the gum tree sways,
Day and night.

Along came a man, gloomy and groundless,
With a rusted chainsaw on his side.
Growling towards my tree, everything started to shake
I hear him yell “TIMBER!!!!”
And there goes my bed.
