Life and Death

Life is a gift, a treasure so true

It's something we all must pursue

We live and love, we laugh and play

And cherish each moment, every day

But death is a fate we all must face

It’s a part of life, it’s not a race 

We all will die, it’s just our fate

But we can choose how we appreciate.

Death is like a thief, a shadow so down

It steals our breath and makes us frown

But life is like a willow, a tree so strong

It bends and sways, it sings a song

But life is a gift, a treasure so true

It's something we all must pursue. 

We live and love, we laugh and play

And cherish each moment, every day.

So let us live, let us love

Let us soar like a dove.

For death will come, it's just a fact 

But until then, let's not hold back.
