Life as a tree

I watch my brothers and sisters fall
While animals slink away
My flowers dance across the wind hoping for better place
A paradise of green melting away through time
Thousands of years gone in the daytime
Walls built around, me shutting out the light
Vines wrapping across me laughing with pure delight
Storms raging with fury, lightning flashing in the dark
As wind chops at my branches lighting a spark
