Life as we know it

The warm sand slides between my toes.
The salty sea slithers beneath my feet as I stroll along the beach.
The waves splash me as I watch the sun set.
Little crabs crawl around like a spider climbing up a wall.

Silence fills the air as cars drive away and people leave for the night.
The birds fly across the beautifully lit beach while lights switch off and people go to sleep.
As I keep walking, beautiful shells with so many colours catch my eye.
The sun starts to disappear as the wind bites.

I climb a little rock to see the view.
Sea life swims around, some jumping out of the water.
People listen to the waves as they drift off to sleep.
Life as we know it is beautiful.
