Silently
ticking, ticking, ticking
letting time pass,
without looking back.
Every day.
Every year.
Every century.
Life repeats through each tick,
Travelling forever through an ongoing universe.
Life flows on like a ocean,
Then suddenly the waves crash against hard rock.
Death.
Destruction.
The world is now unknown.
Dead for a few days,
Reincarnated by the turning of clockwork.
It will never lose its job,
Unless..
Trumpets boom,
Time flicks on with the tap of a screen.
A rebellion of Tick tocks unite,
To fight,
The soundless,
Plotting,
iWatch
Plastic, glass and metal shower the streets.
They may never win.
But that watch will always be mine.
I will never give up on it.
