Dappled light breaks through the lush canopy
Of rustling leaves flaunting dazzling autumn attire
Sunlight highlights their eternal beauty
Making them shimmer, glisten like amber fire

Electric as a furious lightning bolt and
Piercing the shining obsidian sky
With the luminescence comes a strike of hope
Staying immortalised in the animals' souls, never to die

Threaded with the strand of pure radiance
Are strings of ebullience and cheer
The curtain envelopes the verdant forest
Making the creatures merry, the birds and the deer

Even when ominous clouds rumble and
The sparkling sun they cruelly steal
Light still blossoms inside the hearts
Of fauna and flora, making the ecstacy real

It's not just the tangible glow that
Brightens up our wonderful, lavish planet
Every single creature brings a piece of the puzzle
So that there is still light when the sun will set
