Grows the Lily Pilly tree
Deepening in colour
Across a wide spread of trees
Are glossy, green, glowing leaves
Growing up to 20 meters free
In smooth soft silky soil
Stands the lily pilly tree
Berries blooming bright
In shades of pink and white
Attraction of sweet nectar buzzing in bees
Fluffy cream flowers growing in towers
I could stay here for hours
Until the season has finished its flowers.
