Little did you know

Little did you know, trees are like humans
Little did they know, they had to fight for their own lives
Red flames bloom through the skies on a scorching hot summer day,
Black ashes are the only remains.

Little did you know, your favourite wildlife animals rely on those sky-scraping homes that are burnt or demolished from gruelling machines each year.  
Little did you know that not only do humans have feelings but animals also do.
I hear chainsaws sawing down their homes
I see the hopeless animals crawling on their knees begging to be saved
But they have no hope trying to stand up for themselves...
