Living Forests

Forests are beautiful with running streams.
The air is like a daffodil.
Leaves crunch under foot.
Although some burn while flames flicker,
Their heart and desire for wildlife will never fade,
like forest branches.
Rainforests are so cool in the treetops.
There are red parrots chirping on the ground.
Snakes slither, wallabies hop and lizards snicker.
Everlasting trees go up and up into the sky.
Branches spread giving animals shade in the sun.
Some people help wildlife in National Parks and zoos.
Not to be mean.
Not to keep them in cages.
For health and safety.
Today more people think about wildlife.
Look after it.
Keep it safe.
They live in the bush, not in the city.
Wildlife is the best place to be.
