Swaying gently on a spring day

Regrown, reinvigorated

Strength and power displayed

The wind hums a joyful tune

The dandelion dances on its own, a lonely dance of solitude

Bright and cheerful skin outside

The sun’s rays play with its fluffy petal

Hollow stem full of empty hopes and dreams,

A stranded sunlike flower, so alone in misery

The others arise, lonely no more

Naive hope puts an end to grief

Reunited with fellow beings

Vibrant dreams start with a new night

One that is not endured alone

Forgotten among the crowd,

Thousands of flowers and yet invisible

Thousands of friends yet none transparent

When one's alone they wish for company

Yet that soul can never be satisfied
