A broken spirit cursed with eternal sorrow
Lonely Spirit swirling inside a fossil
Imprinted wrinkles a sign of desolation
Always surrounded, always alone
Could anything be more despairing?
Lonely spirit dreams of a past he never had
Happy, healthy, hopeful
Now, surrendering to the dark after-life
His drooping jouls reflect
A life he rather would not live
Distant chatter permeate his ears
Forever an outside,never included
The misery in his soul has turned him old
Malicious talk has turned him old
Lonely Spirit has turned old
Crack; another piece of him thuds to the bottom
Forever trapped in this hard shell
Feeling the movement of young life pass by him
Knowing he can’t go back to that again
