Thriving in the intertidal zones lies a glistening mangrove

This salty shrub germinates in the mud, clustering together

Mangroves, the lungs of the earth nurse marine life

If we don't take action to save our mangroves we’ll never have them ever!

Standing tall next to vintage mangroves

The firm and strong pneumatophores spread across the land

Supplying oxygen to the roots of mangroves

Both providing a home to many creatures that live in the sand

Twelve months at sea the propagul swam

Through the weather and tides

Trying to find the perfect spot to root

But when it finally does, it finds shelter and hides

Saving us from erosion and helping us with gas exchange

Mangroves do it all!

Stopping massive waves

Our precious mangroves act as a wall, saving us all!
