Manta Rays

I swim through the plankton,
Eating it as I go.
I catch most of it,
Because I’m very slow.
I’m really long,
So I stretch really far.
I’m the biggest ray,
As big as a car!
I fly though the water,
But I won't stop.
Or I will drown,
Surprising a lot.
I have stripes,
Markings and spots.
I lack fingerprints,
But instead I have dots.
I’m white at the bottom,
But dark on the top.
It's called countershading,
I like it a lot.
