Throughout my time on earth,
I didn’t do much.
I only watch and observe my surroundings
Yet throughout these 11 years,
I observe.
My conclusion –
Humans are unpredictable,
But they amaze me.
How they grow,
How their personalities change,
But their hearts will
Always remain the same.

I remembered my early life.
It was boring
I was made as a replica of Winnie the Pooh.
Placed in a glass display
And people would come and stare at me
Not people, children.

Their innocent, curious eyes stared at me,
Yet their short height proved to be an obstacle.
Even though I was proud to be in the centre of attention,
I yearned to be bought and owned.

Minutes turned to hours
And hours turned to days
Days turned into weeks.
I watched as people passed by
And never bought me.

Out of nowhere,
I was taken out.
Out of nowhere,
A young girl hugged me tightly
The first time l felt love
Out of nowhere,
I was bought.

To me,
She was the most adorable girl
Fascinated with Barbie dolls
Always in a dress
But it’s always her small round eyes
And her chubby cheeks
That awe me
Something I could never forget

My first year with her
Was unforgettable.
I could never forget it
Every time she brought me
To a room
And would make everyone laugh.
She didn't even do anything,
It's always how every minute of the hour,
Out of nowhere she would burst out laughing
All day.

My first year with her,
She brought me everywhere.
Refused to be separated
I ate with her,
I watched with her,
I played with her,
I slept with her.

Every night,
She would sleep with me.
Hugged me tightly as she slept.
Every night,
I watch her innocent eyes close,
Sometimes wondering what
She dreams.

Every morning,
As she went to school,
I stayed in her bed.
Watching as the day goes by,
Waiting as she comes back.
